Hello again April- I know it is so sad to see your brother have to go through all this. I have five children and one of my children had a brain tumor many years ago, it was not cancerous , we were glad for that.
I have a son who is 23 and he is on here too.
I will pray fof you and your brother and your family tonight.

For the past how many years divorce has become the normal awnser to our daily problems, scripture has given us sufficient reason when and where divorce is acceptable, adultery is the most obvious reason, but what is it that causes a spouse to behave in such a manner. It can only be found in the offender themselves they are also abusive to their mates and or family members especially to their children, it is seems to be someone else's fault and the situation continues to exaserbate I'm so sorry for those victims of spousal abuse and their children. I pray for the healing hand of the Lord on those victims and on the offenders. I enjoyed 40 years with my late wife who was abused and assaulted by her first husband many times, he was an alcholic. She finally had to leave him for her own sake and the safety of her children, there was no helping him, he himself died a few years ago from cancer and drinking.

First of all I would like to begin defining marriage it is the union between a husband and a wife. So I will laugh at you if you suggest a gay marrige, because I believe that their is no such thing.
Today in the marrige serimony it is said by the power invested in me by the state of__ I now pronounce you man and wife. Do I believe that the state has the power to marry you ? No. Yet if u were married by a captain or a justise of peace I belive it is still vallid.
In the movie Brave Heart the hero was married in secret by the church alone in a private cerimoney I dont think anyone would disagree that they were married though the marrige was private. So again do I believe that the church has the power to marry you. Again I say no because I reconised the marrige of the state.
So to look at my definition of let us look at Yashua's words in Mark 10:7-9 " For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife : and the twain shall be one flesh. What God has put together let no man put assunder. In this verse there is no mention of neither state nor church yet there is still marrige. Even some states to day when 2 people have been living together for a # of years reconise it as a common law marrige. Could it be that YHWH also reconises this as marrige and that their is no such a thing as "living in sin". Maybe.
Paul in 1Cor.6:15,16 "shall i then thak the members of Christ, and make them a member of a harlot? God forbid. What know ye not that witch is joined to a harlot is one body?for two saith he shall be one flesh." Here Paul tell us that at the act of intercoarse one is in the same relationship that Yashua said was marrige.
Hence it is my belief that in the eyes of YHWH one is married when one chooses to have sex with an individual.That is why on my profile it says under premarital sex "i don't wish to respond". You may even here me laugh at that because i believe that just like "gay marriges" there is no such thing.
So in closing this is my consept in how i percieve premarital sex and marrige. Seems to me to be the Biblical perspective. Yet I encoarage you to study for yourself and see if indeed you belive it is true. Sincerly Eugene

Please overlook the spelling mistakes. I will be real curious to know after 5 years, how many of the people that got married are still toguether.
To meet is one thing, to make a marriage work is another.
I am not trying to be sinical or any thing like that.
I think that cuold be a very valuable resarch...
I have been married only once, and single for much longer then I was married.
Unhappilly married for about 13 years and single for 20.
Now that I see it in writing, I am thinking; what a waist!!! (I am not sure how to spell)
If I do get re-married I do not want to have another failed union.
How do you avoid failure?
I did not married unbeliver, I did love him, I prayed and fasted and cried to God...
It faild just the same...
In the meen time, I am trying to figure that out I may die of old age in the process...
The marriages that worked ... why?
The marriages that did not work...why?
That will be of great help on clarifying the questions of many people like me.
When people bring their partener from another country verses marrying some one from the same
backgroung, thoes it make a diference?
How and why?
I had some mail from other countries, some of them younger then my kids.
They soud very honest, and I have observed that in some of this countries age means nothing.
I mean to say, is not only the elderly man marrying a woman younger then their grand kid, but young man marrying elderly woman...
To me it sound very risky as I am looking for companionship now and hoppefully have that same companion as long as I live.
I am not into instant gratification, not after what I went through to save my marriage with out success.
That is very hard work and if you still fail after that...
It is a terrible let down!
Don't get me wrong, I did learned a few things from my failed experience!
I may have gone from naive to the other extreme, I am not sure.
Have I learned enogh?
That is the question.
