Thank you very much for your dating service. The first of January 2002, I sent a very short New Year's greeting to Ken. He wrote back and said that if I would write, he would answer. We had both been single for 5 years and were ready to find that special person that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with.

That was the beginning of a wonderful romance. We met in April shortly after I returned home from working in California. The summer was busy. It was nice that we were only 2 hours apart and were able to see each other almost every weekend. The phone lines were kept busy, too. On a Corvette cruise in Canada in September, Ken asked me to marry him. We had a beautiful and fun wedding Nov. 10th and honeymooned on the Oregon Coast.

We are very well suited for one another. We both think that it is so nice to have someone to spoil. We treasure each moment we spend together and feel like we will be honeymooning the rest of our lives. As we reviewed our lives, we could have met in 1963 at Walla Walla, WA, but the Lord had other plans. We are just glad that He planned for us to be together now.
