Thanks for posting our photos and sending back the link for us to see them.

This is a short story of our testimony.

I had been on the site for more than 6 months. People suddenly stopped writing me at all after the 4-5 month and I just did not took the time to unsubscribe. So basically, I had given up the idea that anything will come out of it.

Then, suddenly at the end of September 2003 Steven wrote to me with an initial interest and we started exchanging e-mails for 1.5 months. He was working then in Korea and offered to come and visit me in Sofia, Bulgaria on his way back to the USA. I agreed. I liked him as a friend and admired him as a man of God. However, I was still very skeptical of the relationship as far as marriage. Basically I thought he was wasting his time. He is 12 years older than me and I didn’t see myself as a woman liking older men.

On 30th November he came to Bulgaria. I met him at the airport. It was a shock – he was not the same person that I “knew” from the e-mails. I wanted back the Steven from the e-mails that I had come to love, and that person there was not he. The first week of knowing each other face-to-face was difficult for both of us actually.

Then, I took some days off because I was working full time and we went on a trip around Bulgaria for 5 days. On that trip we fell in love with each other. It was because we found out that each one of us loves and holds the Lord Jesus Christ first no matter what.

After coming back from that trip the real struggle began. He wanted me to marry him but my relatives and friends were all against it. I noted the advice of the “multitude of counselors”. However, I had to make a decision of my own. So one day I just gathered all that the Lord had spoken to me personally and observed all the miracles He had done so far …that was my great leap of faith…

On 25th December I agreed to marry Steven. We took a 3-day trip to Greece. Then, in 24 hours we arranged the wedding.

On 30th December 2003, exactly one month after we had seen each other, we got married. These are the pictures of our civil wedding. We are going to have a church wedding and a big celebration on 22nd August 2004 in Bulgaria. Steven and I will send you pictures from that event with the white wedding dress and all the other traditional stuff afterwards.

…I am still a woman who doesn’t like older men, I just like my man.

I want to thank the Lord from all my heart for everything He has done for us. For the four months we have been together (I had to come later because of paperwork) He has performed enormous miracles and deliverances for us. We are freer and better people to live with. The Father Himself is building our marriage up as He promised at the beginning. We are so much better off now. Even by the time you are reading this testimony we will not be the same people such are the great works of God in our lives right now. Praise be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Goast!
