While you are applying for welfare, ask the social worker about programs and services designed for the handicapped/disabled. Since you seem to qualify in this area, try to get housing assistance and other services designed to help support you. Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be open for you. God Bless, Elaine

Feeling like you are about loose control of everything is a scarry place to be. I understand-I've been there more than once. I want you to know, that you are right where God wants you to be. He wants you to turn over the reigns to HIM, and let HIM be in control. Right now you are in a panic mode. Surrender is not easy, but when you learn to trust in Him to carry you through things, you will have more peace of mind throught it. You will learn to trust in HIM, and when he comes through for you, you will have developed Faith. When you see that you have been going in circles over and over again, you need to ask yourself "What is GOD trying to teach me?" Until you learn what that is, you will continue to go round and round. You say that you can only have a desk job because of ADD, and depression, Don't limit yourself. Maybe there is a job you can do, but won't even try because you have convinced yourself that you can't. You have already set yourself up for failure. Why don't you ask the Lord what HE wants you to do? I can tell you right out-since you asked for help, and please don't get offended-you NEED to change your FOCUS. Looking at the big picture will overwhelm you. Take it day by day/step by step. What can you do for the day, to help yourself for today, AND for down the road. Read the word daily, and pray ALL through the day. Most likely, you need to be regulated on medicine for ADD, and Depression, until the Lord gives you a healing in the tangible realm. Ask your doctor if you can take EFFEXOR. It is for ADD, and depression. You should be in counseling as Depression is anger turned inward. You may have too much time on your hands/too much time to think about problems. If you attend church every week, see if there are any fellowship groups you can get involved in. Helping others makes you feel needed, and like you make a difference in someones life. Looking at others problems help you look at yours less. If you don't attend Church every week, you NEED to. Don't focus on the negative. That will add to your depression. Try to refrain from too much sleep. Find the good in every situation. You will not be homeless if you choose not to be. A shelter is what it is-shelter from the streets and elements. It is a place to sleep, eat, and shower. It is provision. Thank the Lord for it-do not murmer-things could always be worse! It is temporary. I've done it, and you can too, if you have to. As far as welfare goes, look at it as the blessing that it is. It is also provision from the Lord. The insurance will pay for your meds., and for counseling. It will help you pay for food, and rent. You will need to work on a plan to help you get on your feet, so you can come off of it. There are places like Goodwill, who give computer classes for free. They are only a few hours a day, a few days a week. Skills can help you get a better job. When you remind yourself that The Lord says he will not give you more than you can handle, you will realize that GOD knows your limit-more than you do. You can do all things through Christ-who STRENGTHENS you. Perseverance builds CHARACTER. I am not a counselor, or know it all. My father and step mom abused me as a child, and grew up in childrens, and foster homes, without seeing my sibling, and mother for 10 years. I was emotionally abused there, but you know what? This is my testimony. I survived, and because of it, I am sensitive, and compassionate, and loving. Now I can give you personal advice. You will overcome, and help someone else in the same situation one day too. That is the beauty of it. God has a calling on your life, and I believe it is big. God is humbling you, so you will never take credit for the awesome things He wants to do through you. GOD uses the humble to confound the wise. He doesn't want you to have a Spirit of Pride. You will say "Look what the Lord has done!" I pray that this Spiritual Seed will be planted on FERTILE ground, and take DEEP root. That this very day-the Spiritual blinders will come off your eyes, and you will see the Revelation of what I am saying, and prophesying over you today. Your relationships are overwhelmed. Talk to God/Jesus/ The Holy Spirit/and your counselor from now on about your problems. Normal people can't handle listening to the same problems over and over-they have their problems to go through+ hear about yours. Don't despise them. God wants you to come to HIM-he may have allowed them to say "enough," so you would have to write your prayer request, knowing that HE would SEND me to give it to you straight up, but in love. God loves you that much, and I love you too. He said "if you believe in me, believe also in my Son whom I have sent." No man comes to God, EXCEPT through Jesus. Is he your Savior and Lord? God HAS the POWER to not allow The Bible to have existed for over two thousand years, IF it WASN"T inspired by HIM. Just because we didn't see History take place(Jesus die, and resurrect), doesn't mean it never happened. History is recorded, and we believe in it. I will be praying for you. I am applying for welfare again, this time I am hoping that my dr can help me. If I do not get approved I may be kicked out of my place of residence and that would make about 4 times. I am unable to do anything but desk jobs and my depression and a.d.d. keep me from doing a successful job hunt, though I am still trying.
my relationships are strained and I need favor big time.
It is time to get out of this ten year battle and move on with my life.
Pray that God will send someone to help me and grant me peace untill then. I am unable to explain what it's like to not be sure if you will be homeless for a fourth time, but know that it is not ALL my fault.
