I was married for 13 years, some what of a similar experience. You will be happy again:) I promise. Forgiving completely is part of healing your heart, its for you not so much as others. I think why God wants us to forgive others is for our own happiness. I know its not easy but you will glad you did forgive him. The happiness he is looking for isn't real, now he has added guilt to his unhappiness.

My dear sister in Christ,
Holding on to hate, anger, recentfulness is only going to hurt you more and slow the healing process for you. As hard as this sounds, leave it to GOD--he knows exactly what to do with both of them. My husband also left for a younger woman, I am doing well he is not. From the beginning I left everything is HIS capable hands and He has done a wonderful job for me. Put yourself first in HIS all powerful hand and you will see the marvellous things Jesus can do in your life!! I know:-}

Dear Anonymous,
I've prayed for you and will again as well. God knows you, your circumstance, and everyone/everything involved. He knows you intimately, both what has happened to you, and what you need. As you seek Him we are confident that you will find Him, and He WILL help you!
I feel sympathy for you, though I cannot empathize. I've run across a website which has a lot of very helpful information with regard to working through different issues, including resentment/anger etc. I wish to submit it to you in the sincere belief that you might find something helpful there in addition to the many prayers which will be offered for you. Dear unforgiveness, let it go...let It go! Believe it or not I do UNDERSTAND how do you feel, you are NOT alone (besides God and the Angels), there is a lot of woman out there that had and still having the same thoughts and feelings like you. You don't say if you have kids or not, in case that you do, think of them, how much they need to have a mommy 100 % with them. If you don't have kids concentrate in the God's power to give you strength, concentrate in your good friends, and don't let the best of you go in the drain just because a silly or unconsidered man didn't appreciated the woman inside of you. Your value as a woman and human being are immeasurable. The first step of healing is to forgive, and you need to do it, you know why? because he still living his life, and that hate inside of you is killing you and destroying you, he doesn't deserve even that from you. You will see, once that you stop hating, you will be free and you will be ready to keep going with your life and be ready for that special person that really deserve you! You will see! Will pray for you. Not easy to forgive what your husband did or what may be happening now? I understand and empathize. It has taken me 8 yrs of much effort and prayer to forgive much. And still more to forgive.
Lord please give this woman the willingness in her heart to forgive completely and take her through what ever will bring that about. Thank you God for knowing her pain and loving and comforting her. May your spirit continue to work in her until the hatefulness and bitterness turn into love and joy. All glory to God.
