I have been so blessed it is hard to know where to start. The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful son. We are truly blessed to be healthy, have a roof over our heads, food on our table and clothes on our backs. Sometimes I forget to thank HIM who I know is ultimately in charge of my life. It is because of HIM that me and my son are where we are today.

It's amazing when one takes only a few minutes to think about it, the many blessings from God we see in our lives. Truly God is faithful to us, His mercies are indeed new every morning! Among the many blessings from God this week, I'd like to especially thank God for helping me render financial assistance to people who were genuinely in need. It seemed to me nothing short of a miracle that the unplanned for expenditure did not result in the kind of dislocation that it normally should. Indeed I count it a blessing from God to be used by Him as His hands and feet to reach out to others around us.

I have so many blessings to count...sadly I forget to do it often but here goes. My family is so supportive of each other...Thank-you God for my family.
I'm also so thankful for my boss. He is certainly a God send. When my illnesses come up I'm allowed all the time off work that I need to get better. My boss says "Call when you are ready to be put back on the schedule". Who can ask for anything better than that!

I almost don't know where to begin, but there are two blessings in particular that I am thankful for, while at the same time being a little depressed by the related circumstances.
I am greatful that I was able to take a year off to spend with my parents after my dad had open heart surgery. He's also a kidney patient with related health problems. So, I left my job, a really good one, in order to be home to help out, drive to doctors appts., etc. My grandfather provided me during the past year, almost EXACTLY what I would have made had I been working. I'm sure he didn't know it, but I am so appreciative for that. It allowed me to survive, pay bills, etc. and have a clear conscience about not working.
Secondly, we'd been having a lot of trouble with vehicles around here right at the time of my dad's surgery Dec. 2002. I had a minivan that was on it's very last legs and mom and dad had a car that got totalled shortly after dad was recuperating from his surgery. With the money my granddad sent I was able to buy a new car, mom also managed to get a new VW bug and dad was driving my "broke-down" van. Right around the time my van finally conked out, my grandfather became very ill. He finally passed this past November...he was generous to the last. He left me his brand new Chevy Trailblazer. Can you believe it? So now we go from having no cars, to 3 brand new vehicles! That IS a blessing!

Hello Friends!
How about counting the blessings we received today or this week? Blessings come in many packages. They can be promotions, victories, answered prayers, opportunities to witness for Christ, or as simple as unexpected courtesy, a phone call or smile from a friend that made our day a little brighter. God loves to hear our requests and I'm sure He's more than glad to know that we appreciate His gifts to us, including those tiny surprises!
Let me start the ball rolling.... I'm thankful for: the warm, sunny weather today, wonderful time spent with God during my morning devotional, a chance to visit and pray for a non-Christian family, an inspiring letter from a friend, hugs from my elementary students, a sweet Korean smile from a saleslady in the grocery store and a lollipop from a 6 year-old boy:)..
