This site seems like a family to me, or more like a congregation. Where there are young adults, singles, married folks,the never married, retired singles, divorsed, and the out cast seperated ones.
In a congregation I, a seperated male, could freely interact with each member. I would not be religated to the seperated room or could only eat with the seperated after everone alse had left.
It would be Righteous of me in conversing with you, a divorsed female, to keep my conversation appropriate.
It would not be right to fly out and go on a date.
But to be friends, to learn about and care about each other can be wholesome.
How can you pray for or encourage me unless you know me. How can I share with you the fabulous spiritual insights G-d has given me?
It is your responsibility as well, to guard your conversation, and I find the people on this site doing that. It is refreshing, thankyou.

This site reads "Christian Singles Dating" so we all pretty much know what the plain motive is!! A married person - which is what a separated person is- has every right to choose to be here (freedom of choice); however, if they are already looking for "friendships" that might lead to dating whenever the divorce is final, That is wrong and ungodly to me? Why not divorce instead of separate? It is only fair to make sure that a Marriage union is severed completely before involving another person in your difficulity. To even think that a married person is on a dating site is horrendous because they are married! Noone can separate what God joined together!! The only valid divorce is maritable unfaithfulness. Let a divorce be completed and over with, and then allow yourself time to grieve or something before getting back into dating!! Goodness! Some people need friends, maybe that is the motive, but why choose "Christian SIngles DATING"?!! Dating being the keyword. In my opinion.

It would be heartbreaking if you truly connected with a person that was just separated, you got involved and they decided to go reconcile, there would be another broken heart, I was widowed fifteen months ago, and my children think I'm off my rocker beign on this singles site.... One truly should wait till the divorce is final, then think about it for a while, don't rush from the frying pan into the fire, really evaluate if you are a good candidate for another mate? and think about what really went wrong in your marriage.

Separated people should not be on this site. Separated people are married. You can't give it another name oand pretend that it is something else. There is no way that someone can repair a broken marriage if that person is seeking to connect emotionally or otherwise with someone else.
Marriage is a covenant between one man, one woman and God. Until that covenant is lawfully broken, which is allowed in the Bible by reason of adultery (I am of the belief that adultery means a lot more than just sex with someone else), people who are still married should not be on a singles site.
There are only two kinds of people. They are married people and unmarried people. A married person is someone in a covenant relationship with another person of the opposite sex and God. Unmarried people are single people in covenant relationship with God only. Single people are seeking an earthly or natural lifelong mate of the opposite sex which God has ordained. There is nothing in between.
